In Loving Memory of Jeanette McNell Kearns

Jeanette McNell Kearns, age 95, of Southern Pines, NC, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2026. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, auntie, cherished friend, and valued member of the community.

She is survived by her husband Halbert Kearns, daughter, Rebecca Jones, grandchildren, Ebony Jones, Lahari Jones, Reina Jones, Harry Jones, Jr, Travon McNeill and Ronshau Cole, 13 great grandchildren, and sister/cousin, Marlene Floyd, and predeceased by son, Richard McNeill.

Jeanette McNeill Kearns will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Service Details

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. with visitation hour from 12:00 noon to 1:00 P.M. at First Missionary Baptist Church, 315 South Gaines Street, Southern Pines, NC 28387. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate her life.
